Welcome to Denistone East Before and After School Care Association, better known as DEBASCA.​

 

We are a non-profit community organisation, managed by a voluntary parent management committee and staffed by a highly skilled and committed team of childcare professionals.​

 

DEBASCA is located on the school grounds of Denistone East Public School. We provide before and after school care for children of Denistone East Public School and vacation care to all school age children.

 

Our centre philosophy is based on free play, diversity, inclusion, and child safety.​ We believe all children and young people have a right to feel safe and be safe. This is reflected in our Child Safe policies, our Statement of Commitment to Child Safety, codes of conduct, and a zero tolerance to child abuse.

 

We believe our role is to foster the development of life skills, cultivating a positive sense of wellbeing and belonging within each child. We hope to achieve this in partnership with you - the parents and families, as well as the local community.​
